Finally, an update!!

Alright, I have put off blogging for long enough!!! I am going to write an update. I was looking at my friend and coworker Stacy's blog and saw the names of everyone's blog that she is following, as well as, when they had been last updated. Some had been updated a few hours before, some a few days before-then , I saw my name..."updated a month ago." I took that as my sign and here I am writing my update. In my last entry I wrote about the coming of Fall. It is now winter and almost Christmas. It is incredibly hard to believe Christmas is only a few weeks away. We have had a few good snowfalls and some nasty winter weather. The snow is beautiful, but I don't like driving in it. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving last week, complete with beautiful weather. My family and my roommate's family and my old roomate's family were all able to get together and have big meal and just have fun and enjoy each other's company. And yes, one of my roommates did move out a couple weeks ago. A few weeks ago, I was able to go to lunch at McDonalds with Stacy and Susan, both coworkers and good friends, as well as Susan's daughter Becca. It is a good thing that we went to one that had a big play area because I gave in to my inner child and climbed around in the big tube things with Becca and had fun chasing her, and having her chase me. Once again, I'll have to post pictures when I have my camera and camera cord with me. I really wasn't planning on posting tonight so I did not come prepared. My roommate Jes and I are planning on getting a tree soon to set up in our living room. I will have to post some of my elusive pictures we we do get the house decorated for Christmas.

fall

Fall has come so quickly that it is hard to believe that it is actually here, and almost gone. Last weekend when I was on the bike trail, the colors were at their peak, they were absolutely gorgeous. It was so much fun to be able to enjoy the beautiful weather.
This past week, my roommate added an addition to our home, a puppy. I was able to go with her to get the puppy. She is a very sweet puppy by the name of Cuddles, which is appropriate though she has so much energy, it sometimes seems to calm a name. I have a cat at home as well. He is 1 year old and my sweetheart. He is big, he weighs about 15 lbs. The puppy is 4 mo. and weighs almost 5 lbs. Needless to say, my cat is bigger than the dog. At first, the cat was wary of the puppy-not aggressive just followed her around everywhere. The puppy followed us around, and the cat followed the puppy. The puppy and cat have since then become better aquainted and love to play/fight with each other. I am glad that we have the puppy since I think my cat was in need of a playmate.
Yesterday, Jes and her sisters, brother and mom raked the leaves in our yard into a big pile. My other roommate's brothers came up and we all had fun jumping in and over the pile. afterwards we had pie and ice cream, played Uno attack and started a movie, we had lots of fun:)
Today is my brothers birthday, so after I sleep, we are planning on going out for Chinese then going to a movie.

keeping busy

I have had a busy couple of weeks. 2 weeks ago I went to My cousins house for his wedding. I was able to stay with my aunt and uncle and catch with my cousin whom I had not seen for 3 years...we were very close growing up. Then it was right back to work, the evening that I got back. Aftere I went to the town's annual hog roast of course. The next weekend, I had an amazing time in Door County with friends and cooworkers. Once again, back to work the same day as I got back. Then this past weekend, I was able to go camping and biking with some close friends. We biked at least 21 miles...thus my seat is sore. However, it was alot of fun. Oh, and once again, I went back to work the same evening I got back home. I don't know why I keep doing it to myself:) I was able to get a nap in on the way home from biking. I will have to include pictures at some time, but I have yet to take the time to get the necessary equipment to download the pictures. I would have to say that overall, I have been keeping very busy and having a wonderful time these past three weeks. Right now I am sitting with a cooworker at work attempting to stay awake. Hopefully, I will succeed.

first post

Hi everyone,I'm rather new at this...so bear with me. I don't know how much I will write on this because I really don;t feel that I have that much to write about but...Oh well, I'm sure I will think of things to talk about. My roommates and I are storing up supplies for winter, at least that is what my roommate Jes's mom said. Today we hauled 1 1/2 loads of wood from my roommate Jen's parents' house. Her brothers were kind enough to help saw, split, and haul the wood, though we all split some and all helped load and unload the wood. I am quite sore from lifting the wood. Altough I really enjoy the coolness of fall,I do not look forward to a snowy winter. But I suppose that I would not enjoy the other seasons quite as much if I did not have winter to dislike so much. Kinda twisted reasoning but it works for me. Anyhow, this is my first official blog.
